About Us...
Derwent Financial Services Ltd is a firm based in Matlock, Derbyshire, UK. The town of Matlock sits on the edge of the Peak District National Park, and is a former spa town alongside the River Derwent.
We provide advice to both individuals and companies on all aspects of financial planning, through a long term approach of fully understanding our clients' needs, wants and aspirations and then prioritising objectives.
We believe that building long-term relationships with our clients is key to serving their needs and firmly believe in a ' face to face' personal service.
OUR TEAM
Andrew Hodkin - Director / Independent Financial Adviser
Began his career in financial services in 1992 and became an IFA in 2004. Andrew has been established at Derwent Financial Services since May 2006, and is qualified up to Financial Planning Certificate (FPC) 3. Andrew's special intrests are in dealing with clients who are retired or are about to retire, needing assistance with investments and Inheritance tax planning.
Nick Hurst - Independent Mortgage Adviser
Has 10 years experience in financial services, with the last 7 years primarily dealing with mortgages. Having joined Derwent Financial Services in August 2007, Nick is available for all your mortgage needs. He is qualified up to FPC 3 and CeMAP.
